Before moving to Stockholm, I taught myself how to create websites by doing freelance work for local company. That experience was very rewarding and I've learned a lot.

This was extremely important. Companies weren't ready to trust me as a web developer back then, so I had to start on my own. Those website were pretty ugly to be honest, but we have to remember that this was back in 2010.

The hardest part was to sell & evaluate the price of a website that I was supposed to build. You tend to do a bit of everything as a self-entrepreneur, and you get to learn so much about various non-tech fields.

Working towards what I really want to do

By knowing what I didn't want to do, I slowly started to shift towards what I really want to do.

Working in a cross-functional team, with different people, is what I absolutely love doing. At Bannerflow, I had the possibility to work closely with the marketing & design team which I found very rewarding.
